Portia de Rossi Becomes Portia Lee James DeGeneres
They wed back in 2008, and now Portia de Rossi has officially taken Ellen DeGeneres' last name. According to TMZ, a judge granted Portia?s name change request earlier today (September 23) in L.A County Superior Court. DeRossi will now be known as Portia Lee James DeGeneres. "Marriage is a different way of being together," De Rossi told People magazine five months after the wedding. "It's legal, and it's real, so there's that kind of formality to it that makes it very valid." Christina Aguilera
